After schooling in Geneva, Switzerland and Bristol, UK, Jan received a Bachelor of Science Honours in Business Studies at Roehampton Institute, Surrey University.

Currently the General Manager of an iconic Hotel in Brisbane, Jan has worked in the hospitality industry since university, working in Geneva, London, Sydney, Hunter Valley and Brisbane.

Jan has been a member of Lions Club International since March 2019.

Current Vice Chairman Brisbane Accommodation Hotels Division of the Queensland Hotels Association and Committee Member on the board of the German Australian Community Centre QLD Inc.

Jan and his wife Alison’s goal to achieving a more sustainable society and whilst creating a supportive community, especially in education, led them to found Stationery Aid.

Alison has a love for our natural environment with a background in applied science – environmental health and sustainable product design. For over 20 years she has been a director of her sustainable design studio Haasch Pty Ltd and has worked in the public and private sector practicing environmental health for almost 30 years.

Alison has an in-depth understanding of factors in our everyday environment that may have an impact on human health and the environment we live in. She loves helping people and planet, spending time with her family and is a keen traveller, hiker, basketballer, native gardener and wildlife warrior.

Alison is the proud co-founder of Stationery Aid and the organisation’s purpose aligns with her values and ethics. Respect and responsibility for biodiversity and our planet; compassion, empathy, inclusion and equality for all people regardless of their background, especially in education.

Stationery Aid is creating positive change in our local environment by diverting waste from landfill whilst also supporting vulnerable people and disadvantaged school kids in our community that need it most.

Haydee has a background in public health, environmental health and work health and safety and has been responsible for developing and maintaining corporate governance, safety and environmental management systems in both the public and private sectors.

These roles have allowed her to develop high level leadership and management capabilities, and to learn to adapt to a constantly changing environment, whilst maintaining the safety of staff, the community, and the environment.

Her roles have involved team management, research, systems and strategy development and review, broad stakeholder consultation, advanced problem solving and issue resolution skills, budget preparation, project management and the ability to manage and prioritise competing initiatives.

Haydee has recently been recognised with an Australia Day Achievement Award from her employer for her significant contribution to the Australian community through her work during the 2019/2020 bushfire response and the COVID-19 pandemic.

Outside of work, Haydee loves to spend time with her family and friends, has a keen interest in environmental sustainability and is involved in supporting new Australians by providing tutoring support to refugee families as they adjust to living in their new home.

Her involvement in Stationery Aid builds on this commitment to supporting those in the community who are in need, whilst at the same time promoting environmentally sustainable practices. She has been overwhelmed by the generosity shown by those who have donated to Stationery Aid to date, and is keen to be involved in the growth of the charity as it continues to develop its capacity to support the most vulnerable and disadvantaged in the community.

Sarah holds the role of chief financial officer for a large corporation with 20 years of experience, including roles in Big 4 firms and corporate positions across the technology, mining, and engineering sectors.

She has extensive technical and leadership expertise, particularly as a CFO and in group finance, taxation, and global reporting. Sarah has led international teams and excels at delivering cross-functional solutions through an inclusive, consultative leadership style.

She is also experienced in risk management, compliance, and governance, with a strong focus on strategy and continuous improvement. Sarah is a skilled mentor and communicator, dedicated to team development and stakeholder engagement. Her accomplishments include facilitating leadership programs and contributing to diversity and strategic initiatives.

Personally, Sarah is passionate about supporting children and the environment and is enthusiastic about contributing her financial expertise to Stationery Aid’s mission. She is married with two children and enjoys running, swimming, and family time.

Col became interested in Stationery Aid when his Lions club, Golden Valley Keperra, assisted with the program in its very early establishment.

He thought it was such a great program and wanted to get involved, as did other members of the Club.

Col has been a member of service clubs for almost 50 years and believes Stationery Aid is one of the most interesting and worthy things he has been involved with.

Col is married to Maryanne and together they have three children and seven grandchildren. Col plays golf, badly, and enjoys volunteering, philately and genealogy.

Hue Kedge is a creative entrepreneur who transforms passions into thriving ventures, allowing her to do more of what she loves every day.

With over 25 years’ experience across luxury marketing, branding, communications, and the arts, Hue has lived and worked in Sydney, Hong Kong, and London, leading major projects and working with prestigious brands. Now based in Springfield, QLD, she’s focused on growing her creative ventures and finding opportunities where business and passion can co-exist.

As the founder of Branding Profiles, Hue combines photography with strategic insight to help businesses craft authentic visual narratives that elevate their brand presence.

She also co-founded Creative Hearts Co., a Brookwater-based social enterprise dedicated to nurturing creativity through art exhibitions, workshops, and collaborative events. Through Hue the Artist, she explores themes of inner strength and identity, creating mixed media art that celebrates self-expression and supports charitable causes.

Hue’s work is grounded in gratitude and a deep passion for giving back, values that align closely with initiatives like Stationery Aid, which create positive, lasting change within communities. She firmly believes creativity is the cornerstone of success, and her work across business, community, and the arts is driven by a desire to inspire, uplift, and leave a meaningful legacy.”

Jessica is a formidable young teenager whose quest to support our most vulnerable and disadvantaged school students aligns with our own charitable objectives for an equal, fair and quality education UNSDG4 which also contributes to helping relieve poverty and misfortune UNSDG1.

She is a confident young advocate who is clearly passionate about building relationships and developing partnerships with many local organisations like Stationery Aid to ensure people experiencing vulnerability and disadvantage such as children, are given the best opportunity to receive quality education, to learn equally like all other students for the best possible education and lifelong outcomes.

Jessica has written a children’s book to help children understand the concept of the UN Global Goals.

She was recently recognised for her commitment to community at the 7News Queensland Young Achiever Awards 2025.

She has competed in the Future Problem Solving (FPS) Community Problem Solving individual division at the National level, held in Melbourne where she was named Champion of her division. From this exceptional achievement, Jessica will be representing Australia at the international Future Problem-Solving Conference in Indiana, USA in 2025. She will also be visiting UN headquarters namely UNICEF in New York.

We see Jessica as an enthusiastic youth advocate for local and global positive social, environmental and education outcomes, and of course for Stationery Aid!
