Stationery collections
Do you accept binders, office trays, desktop holders, sticker tape dispensers or magazine trays?
No, we do not accept these items as they are unlikely to be in school booklists and are difficult for us to store. If there is a recycling symbol on the bottom of the item, place it in recycling.
When in doubt on what we accept as donations, think of what you had in your backpack at school or refer to our list.
Do you accept items that have names labelled or written on them?
Yes. Names on items are fine as our volunteers will remove the names accordingly so that they are no longer legible and will cover exercise books. However any removal or preparation that can be done on your end is always appreciated.
Do you accept textbooks?
As textbooks are often updated with new editions regularly, we do not usually need older editions. We suggest reaching out to organisations such as Books for PNG.
The financial donations of our supporters and sponsors help us provide the most recent and required textbooks for students. You can make a donation here.
Do you accept electronics such as USBs and headphones?
We do not accept USB but will accept headphones if they are in good working condition.
Partnerships and collection points
How can my school or workplace become a collection point for Stationery Aid?
Please email admin@stationeryaid.org with contact details and address. We will arrange a collection box to be dropped off at your location.
Donating funds
Is my donation tax deductible?
Yes, Stationery Aid is a Registered Charity which means all donations over $2 are deductible from your taxable income for the year.
How does my donation of funds get used?
By donating regular or one-off funds, you are helping purchase resources we are in short supply of for our student stationery and booklist lists. You are also helping to support Stationery Aid directly to continue our mission and grow.
Without the support of individuals, corporations, and government, we cannot achieve our social and environmental purpose.
