Jan Schutt

After schooling in Geneva, Switzerland and Bristol, UK, Jan received a Bachelor of Science Honours in Business Studies at Roehampton Institute, Surrey University.

Currently the General Manager of an iconic Hotel in Brisbane, Jan has worked in the hospitality industry since university, working in Geneva, London, Sydney, Hunter Valley and Brisbane.

Jan has been a member of Lions Club International since March 2019.

Current Vice Chairman Brisbane Accommodation Hotels Division of the Queensland Hotels Association and Committee Member on the board of the German Australian Community Centre QLD Inc.

Jan and his wife Alison’s goal to achieving a more sustainable society and whilst creating a supportive community, especially in education, led them to found Stationery Aid.
